Our Story
Kia ora, we’re Laura & Tom — the owners of Holy Guacamole, the little Mexican food truck!
We’re an Austrian-Kiwi duo with a shared love of surfing, sunshine, and, of course, mouth-watering Mexican food
Our story started back in 2018 on a surf trip in Portugal. Tom paddled over to say hello… and the rest, as they say, is history!
Over the last few years we’ve split our time between Austria and New Zealand, soaking up the best of both worlds – with a few surf trips to Indonesia thrown in whenever we can!
A few years ago, we took over the reins from Cathi & Isaac, and we’ve absolutely loved keeping the beach vibes of Holy Guacamole alive each summer.
We can’t wait to welcome you back, serve up all the flavours you know and love, and add a little bit of our own twist to your Holy Guacamole experience this summer.

Parked up on a nice patch of grass just before the Oakura holiday park. Drive past the surf club, look out to your left and you can't miss us!
